I just can't understand why you become a journalist/interviewer/talk show host if you can't do your job properly! Research the subject first, then prepare relevant and interesting questions, how hard can it be?! One has to admire Alan's patience, really, it's remarkable he puts up with it.

I know, right? I actually watch Alan's interviews with a notepad and pen so I can take notes and avoid the things that make him pull those very grumpy (but oh-so-grandfatherly-adorable) faces, should I ever actually get a chance to interview him. Or even ask him a couple of questions at a crosswalk.

I don't really have anything to ask. It's not that I'm not interested, it's just... Okay, I'm not that interested. But he could recite me a poem any day^^

Ooh, could you imagine how awesome him reading "The Raven" would be? Christopher Walken's reading is pretty cool (and hella creepy, natch), but damn! Even thinking about Alan whispering "Once upon a midnight dreary..." sends shivers down my spine.
